The 3 day are too little to exploit the Turbo Pass really. Especially between Christmas and New Year. Pity that are included in the Turbo Pass only for the Vatican Museum, the Colosseum and Castel Sant'Angelo past the queue. St. Peter's Basilica, we had 3.5 hours standing, Roman Forum, we have given to us after we saw the long queue. Public transport we could use very efficiently with the help of Google Maps.
Everything almost perfect. Great city, good experience with the pass, has saved us waiting. Only the descriptions of the activations of the tickets or subway cards could be explained better - especially in German. Apart from that good solution.
We recommend to explore Rome by foot. The public transport is not really necessary as one will discover more by walking. A centrally located hotel and everything is reachable within 5-10 minutes.
Shipping of the passports was fast, we had to cancel one of them and that was done and refunded quite quickly and without any hassle. Admission to the Colloseum and the Vatican went without problems at the fast entry. Using the public transport was really easy with the pass. when the public transport pass was adopted.
The pass is definitely recommendable!
Very practical utensil for a city break to Rome. Picked up on site. All worked really well. The tips in the accompanying small guide were very good, too. Immense time savings also during off season. Included services sometimes confusing - therefore, points deduction.
Everything worked very well. For the city tour you should inform yourself beforehand which stops are included. Unfortunately, we did not know that at the first visit. The 2nd time worked better. Rome is a great city, highly recommended.
Has really paid off in Rome, you could really anywhere quickly past the snakes. For the Vatican as a fiver in the lottery. we had to phone to clarify rapidly the hotline to the questions. At the next city trip with children of Turbo Pass is a must again.
We enjoyed our trip very much and the CityPass has cut the long queues. We had problems with the public transport ticket of the children and needed help. We were given help by a nice woman at a Ticketeria station, but actually it was not the one responsible as the Ticketeria office is not the same agency as the one selling the City Pass. That is something you simply need to know...
The Turbo Pass is a great deal if you're interested in seeing a lot. If traveling with kids, it's rather tricky at some spots, however everythink worked very well. Due to the mass of people at some attractions, it was not easy to find the right fast-track entry.
We had to not worry about any travel and tickets and were in museums always past the queue. This we have of course saves a lot of time. Only the price for 3 days I find quite high. However, it is still worthwhile and I would order the pass again next time to avoid stress and waiting times.
The Turbo Pass is already a help to save time to get past because queues. But despite everything, the price is too high, I would recommend 70 Euro that would fully okay
The Turbopass made our stay in Rome enjoyable and stress free ... thus was a fantastically beautiful holiday no more obstacles.
The TP is worthwhile if you drive a lot on public transport. This in turn is worth it since you get to know the country and people better. And you never have to think about how often you drive, with what you drive. Great relief brings. Another advantage, especially at the Vatican, if you book the ticket from home, one simply takes a kilometer-long line of waiting tourists passing. Real awesome !! The pity is that the city tour is not a hop on hop off tour, which could make it, since one anyway vain Public use kann.Schade also that one again has to run at a specific location for the ticket to hop on hop off. This has fully stressed us and could be better ... For us is valid for 4 days would have been ideal, why can not that even more detail scales? Otherwise, the TP is a fine thing.
The Turbo Pass can I recommend much facilitated. Unfortunately, it was not so clear at the Galleria Borghese, which you have to reserve compelling phone. The announcement on the phone was very hard to understand that we were about to give up. Eventually we had but a bad English speaking lady on the phone who just gave us only a reservation number. Perhaps you could as the Vatican in advance already book through you, as time and day must be booked.
The Rome City Pass you can fortunately to long queues and many people pass, saving time. Since I was only 3 days in Rome with my children, this is a great advantage! The book and the process, even the pickup in Rome itself (for lack of time I could not be sent home the passports), ran smoothly. However, the office at the Vatican is not easy to find: it is located in one of the shops on the right just before St. Peter's Square (facing with the St. Peter's face, shortly after the arcade). A good tip is the Gelateria & Pasticceria Don Nino near the Pantheon. Yummy Cafe and delicious croissants. So can start the day ... Only Ster downer was the Colosseum, where we indeed were able to queues over, but had to use a neighboring inlet at the inlet in the Coliseum our children (because, although they get the tickets at the Coliseum easily, but do not have Turbo Pass! Turbo pass = another queue). Luckily fewer people were there in November, but still very, very many. So many that my wife and I, our children just could not see it until we ourselves had the "Turbo Snake Pass" behind us. This should be / regulated pleasant secure better or for children. Because of the time saving: Turbo Pass recommended!
I'd the Rome City Pass necessarily recommend. Although the duration of my stay was too short to take advantage of all the benefits of the City Pass, I am satisfied with the price / performance ratio. Especially the use of public transport has let me in Rome discover much and possible to easily progress.
With the Romepass we found it easier to choose from the plenty attractions to find our individual path of discovery. That, without being completely slain by the quantity and density. Personally I would have liked, that it would be better to clearly pointed out that the visit of the Villa Borghese must be pre-booked early (best weeks before the trip).
We spent a week in Rome, so we had acquired the variant "six days" of the "Rome City Pass". Generally a really good thing, especially that we had to make us no head about tickets for local transport. Why only 4 out of 5 stars? 1) I have not added up what we would actually paid individually to gate receipts. Feels like we have not really exploited the whole sum by far. The more museums etc. you intend to visit, the more it's worth it, of course. 2) The idea about using the City Pass also have other people, so that we, despite "extra coil" 3/4-hour needed, for example at the Coliseum. At the Vatican Museums, the advantage was more visible, the kilometer-long "Pay line" I would not have hired me. Despite these minor criticisms: recommended!
